How long does my order take to ship?

We ship out live orders every Monday and Tuesday only. We do this in hopes of avoiding any shipping delays. Axolotls need to be fasted for at least 48 hours prior to shipping. Live animal orders that are placed Friday or after will not ship out until the following Monday.

Where all do you ship? 

We only offer shipping to all US legal states where it is legal to own an axolotl. We will not ship to any state where it is illegal to own or import an axolotl. This includes Maine, Hawaii, New Jersey, New Mexico, California and Washington DC.

Shipping details

We stand by the health of our axolotls. All axolotls are shipped in a bag that is filled 1/3 with water to 2/3 air. We double bag and place the axolotls safely in a cooler lined box. We use at least one ice pack depending on temperatures in shipping zones. We label our boxes accordingly, and then some, so they are handled with the upmost care during their trip. We highly recommend choosing over night shipping when choosing options to ship your new friend. We ship over night or 2 day shipping with UPS. We will change carriers, or delay shipping depending on extreme temperature conditions or anything that could jeopardize the well being of the animals. Shipping details will be sent after the label is made so you can track your new friend every step of the way!

Live Guarantee

In the unfortunate case of a DOA (dead on arrival) we do offer a replacement if available or refund if AND ONLY IF overnight shipping was used. WE ONLY GUARANTEE OVER NIGHT SHIPPING. Picture of unopened bag and video must be sent within 2 hours of delivery in order to receive refund.

Egg policy

We have no guarantee on eggs. We wait for our eggs to “bean” and see they are developing appropriately prior to shipping. We package them with care just as we do with our axolotls. Developing eggs can perish at anytime outside of our control, especially after they leave our hands.

All sales are final

In the event you purchase one of our axolotls and can no longer care for it, we will absolutely take back the axolotl. We will not issue a refund for your axolotl.
